It all started one fine day in August 2009, when a family from Hertfordshire made the drastic decision to just 'up-sticks' and move lock stock & barrel to sunny Cornwall.

 

After a short while, once the initial excitement of the beautiful scenery, the clean air by the sea, and the relaxed Cornish way of life had worn off a little, the Mother of the family realised that there was nowhere within a 12 mile radius to buy her children any decent new clothes.  In fact it was so silly, that she had to resort to the Internet to buy her son some decent Wellie Boots - and so her Internet shopping began!

 

The summer days, and the Cornish winter set in. With the harsh winds blowing,  no family or friends close by to keep her amused, and the children happily settled in school each day, the Mother spent her time drinking endless cups of coffee and trawling the Internet to kill the time.

 

With the Next catalogue now exhausted and all the best clothes either being in the U.S.A. or Europe, the Mother realised that if 'she' couldn't find anywhere decent local to shop - then neither could anyone else in the area!

 

And so the idea of Glamtastic Baby was born.....

 

 

 

In January of 2013 - Glamtastic Baby - Newquay decided to close.  The online store was sold - and has now been re-branded as 'DivaKids'. Now under new ownership and intending to stock more exciting American brands in more sizes, as well as some fantastic UK designs from 0 - 6 years - it's onwards and upwards for DivaKids for 2013!
